How did the shooter KNOW to be at THAT field

I've been out of pocket all day so maybe I missed it. He's a guy in from Illinois who picked, out of ALL PLACES, to be at that field where congressionalmembers were.
Why that field at that time today? 7am..really?
If the asshole had plans to harm congressional officials why not be IN DC.

What am I missing?

and he really didn't know who was there. Or he might have heard it from a chance acquaintance on the street. Or he might have found the information when he was on his laptop in the lobby of the Y, which is where he spent most days.

We'll never know since they killed him.

He visited Washington DC for a protest, stayed at the Y I think, got friendly with the mayor, who may have mentioned that congressmen play at the ballfield, then he watched for weeks before making his move.

They were there on the filed. They reacted and stopped the maniac before anyone died.

If you had a point, I think we missed it.

speaking on MSNBC with Nicole Wallace. He said this guy was very social and had been hanging around the YMCA and surrounding neighborhood for a few weeks. It is reasonable to assume people knew that they practiced there.

been planning the attack for a while. This means that the people saying he asked what party was playing aren't making any sense. I am guessing that story about him asking if they were Republicans was a lie. He already knew they were Republicans.
