Morning Joe is rather sickening today.

We must find a way to work together! I think not.

We have someone sitting in the WH who is totally incompetent. We have a Republican controlled Congress that is totally fine with sitting back and letting 45 totally destroy this country. While 45 acts like a bull in the china shop, Republicans are behind closed door trying to figure out just how many laws they can pass that will continue to direct money to the top 1%, take away whatever rights they can from the remaining 99%, destroy regulations that protect the masses and so on.

Had it been Democrats who were shot at yesterday you would not have seen Trump visiting an injured Democrat in the hospital. 45 never said a word about the Portland attack or any other incidents that have take place in this country.

Like healthcare? Like education? Like infrastructure and technological leadership? Like clean air and water? Like financial strength? Like equality for all humans? Are those the values Republicans hate so much??

When Democrats say, "we must work together" it means find a way to compromise.
When Republicans say, "we must work together" it means Democrats must give in to Republicans.(although the Rs 'may' throw them a small bone to persuade them. )

This isn't new, it's just grown worse and more blatant.

'If' the Republicans, including Trump, finally decide to be caring and compassionate adults and learn how compromise actually works so they're working for the well being and wishes of 'we the people' instead of we the richest I might buy the kumbaya stuff until then... I'll keep exercising my 1st Amendment rights as well as fighting for more common sense regulations on my 2nd.

8. You were one of Newt's Class of 94, right Joe?

I'm sure you saw copies of his GOPAC memos, right? The ones that exhorted Republicans to choose words that framed themselves at all times in terms of patriotism and apple pie, while framing Democrats at all times as corrupt traitors worthy of only hatred and loathing?

That didn't alarm you?

What about blithe talk of "2nd amendment solutions"? Of that bit about the tree of liberty being watered with blood? About how high-powered guns needed to be easily available in case citizens found it "necessary" to turn them against the government to preserve freedom?

That talk comes from your team, Joe.

Conservatives have insisted that the Republican Party become ever more extreme. Trump would have been derailed long ago -- by the chaos in his cabinet, the lack of separation from his business interests, the nepotism, his cavalier attitude toward classified information, a cloud of people around him with close ties to an antagonistic power, and solid suspicions of his own ties -- had it not been for conservative's mouth-watering over the opportunity to grab all the marbles and push their wish-list into law. Had it not been for the opportunity to be the ones to put their people on the Supreme Court.

These are your people, Joe, and you personally gave Trump enough free advertising to launch him into where he is now.

You want to work together, Joe? Lead by example: resign and stay out of public life. Go fishing, paint, whittle, whatever, but stay out of the media and out of politics altogether. and take as many as you can of your pals and former pals with you.

Meanwhile at least FOUR other cases of his lunatic followers GUNNING down or harassing citizens and not a peep from that idiot. Bet it REALLY pisses him off that the shooter was a Sanders supporter and not 100% behind Clinton.

Or is it just pissed?

Scalise shooting: Will Hillary tell Democrats now to behave?
I won't link but the foxnews headline is out there ^^^^

The shooter had plenty of anti Hillary comments on social media and said he voted for Jill Stein

But Hillary should have told him to behave?? Even though he was anti Hillary And trump can suggest any violence and he will help with legal fees?? No

None of the violence should have taken place but of all people cast it on Clinton because you don't agree with her to create more hate.

13. the entire republican agenda is aimed at dismantling all Democrats represent and fought for
Thu Jun 15, 2017, 09:00 AM
Jun 2017

... their entire agenda is a broad-based attack on working Americans, folks without personal wealth, the elderly and aged, our youth, women, minorities, immigrants...

No rhetoric about 'getting along' is going to change that fact, or dissuade us from fighting tooth and nail to preserve the gains we've made and keep us from slipping further behind.
