Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY), quoted by the New York Times, defending the secrecy surrounding the GOP health care bill while adding there have been gazillions of hearings on this subject over the years.

(11,730 posts)When he, or any other Republican moron, says things like this, why the reporter doesn't just say, "That is the most ridiculous shit I have ever heard, now can you really answer my question about why the Republicans are not holding hearings on this supposedly new law that is supposed to repeal the ACA and replace it with something better?"
We have been dealing with healthcare for seven years. We have been living under the ACA. Some of it is good, some of it not so good. They are planning to repeal it however, so all the stuff that they did over the last seven years is irrelevant to what they are doing now. Anyone with a functioning brain knows that the Republicans have no healthcare plan, because President Obama drank their milkshake and took the best Republican plan and tweaked it to make it a little better. They are stuck with something that will go back to pre ACA, which was horrible, or worse.
