Conservatives never threaten liberals. Just ask every GOP law maker that went on TV yesterday and today. They are the party of peace! It is used liberals that are violent!

4. I've been waiting for someone to bring this up.

I'd only add two quit of which we are aware... There may be more who've considered running, but, decided it was too polarized and dangerous.

So, using the old heuristic on demographics saying there's 100 unknown per each known, that's 200 potential Democratic candidates we never had because of right-wing intimidation.

Purely speculation. However, I think it's within reason.

5. The Democratic mayoral candidate for Binghamton, NY...

pulled out of race because of death threats and attacks. One assault was while he was holding his 2 yr.

"Later that night, Treiman returned home at 8 p.m. after picking up his two-year-old and eleven-month-old children from a sitter. That's when an unidentified person in a pickup truck threw a full soda container at him. Treiman said he was hit in the back as he turned to shield the child he was holding.

Treiman said the man who threw the can yelled "liberal scumbag" before driving away from the scene."
