The Big Oil fix is in. EPA Chief Scott Pruitt held a private briefing with the chief executive officers of 45 gas and oil companies. The topic? No doubt it was coming up with plans to deregulate their industry, roll back pollution and air quality controls, all those things that cost money and get in the way of even bigger profits for Big Oil and Gas. The kicker? Donald Trump himself was enriched by the private swamp meeting, which was held at Trump’s D.C. hotel. Because of course it was.

The conflict of interest that this represents, alone, should be enough to impeach him. It won't, of course, but it should. Both organizations are Executive Branch organizations. There should be no such meetings at any Trump property, even if the holding company donated the space. Period.

7. Right. Rump's government is stuffed with agents of

the Kochtopus and Mercers, as well as of many other plutocrats. Several of their plants are in line for the presidency, including right at the top the Koch's Pence, Ryan, and Orrin Hatch. Tillerson, SecExxon and an old, old ALEC member/Koch ally, is fourth in line.

My guess is as soon as the possibility that Rump could possibly be elected arose, oil, energy, finance ultraconservatives started plotting how they would use him to gain power if they couldn't get someone else elected. In both cases sabotage of the Democratic Party, including Comey's efforts and hits from big MSM sources, would have been a big part of the strategy.

Wonder how far back they knew Russia was interfering with the election on their side, or even perhaps how far back they intended to, and how they may have made best use of that?

Notably, Comey was already watching Russia's efforts in 2015 and did a carefully documented ass-covering effort to keep the DNC unaware of the hacking all through last spring and summer. Succeeded. The DNC never knew what was happening all those months while the FBI watched the Russians in their computers.

That's only stuff we pick up. What do our intelligence services know? Can only hope Mercer and his daughter are in trouble, and that crew at Cambridge Analytics also.

I really could see the Kochs colluding from a safe distance with an apparent nutcase like Mercer as he conspired with Russia.

While I'm speculating about conspiracies in conspiracies, and secret meetings in strange places, what a shame Scalia had to miss all this good stuff. I do suspect he'd be quite pleased with how things are going overall.
