Re: "The Common" People - "Not getting it"

"I don't think the common person is getting it," she said from the passenger seat of a Range Rover stamped with East Hampton beach permits.

Re: "Not getting it"

US median household income (i.e. half the population makes less than):

~$50,000

Romney fundraising dinner per-person donation:

$75,000

And these are exactly the people with the balls to complain that half the population doesn't even "pay taxes*."

But other than knowing she can't POSSIBLY support her extravagant lifestyle without oppressing the common people and being able to justify her needs as being more important since she has money....

I'm not certain what she thinks "we" don't get in the whole scenario... other than enough money to let most Americans have small dreams, insignificant in terms of her obvious wealth, but enough to keep "the help" from stealing her blind or the average person from resorting to slashing her tires in a blind rage of disgust.

How much money can one extremely-rich-Mitt keep taking? Why don't they just hand over their fortunes to Mitt. He's surely got their backs. Just take it all Mitt! Take every last drop of their fortunes...oh wait...you are....first it was the "commoners" and their money, retirement savings, jobs...... now he is taking from his "own kind".

...and they just give it to him - hoping in return from Romney - promises, favors and "having their backs"....until he changes his mind, sitting on a higher pile of their cash. Hilarious.

Oh Mittster. You so bad.

EAST HAMPTON, N.Y. — A woman in a blue chiffon dress poked her head out of a black Range Rover here on Sunday afternoon and yelled to an aide to Mitt Romney. “Is there a V.I.P. entrance? We are V.I.P.”
***

A luncheon fund-raiser was held at the sprawling home of Ronald O. Perelman, the billionaire financier and Revlon chairman. Widely described as the largest estate in East Hampton, when last advertised in the early 1990s, the house was said to have 40 rooms, 9 fireplaces and a mile of frontage on Georgica Pond.

Laura R. Schwartz, the woman inside the Range Rover and a fund-raiser, complained that Mr. Obama had not visited Israel as president, a slight to the country, in her eyes. “I don’t think he is good for Israel,” she said. Mr. Romney, she said, “is a fresh face.” Her companion, Rody Mehdizadeh, who said he manufactures laundry detergent, praised Mr. Romney’s business acumen, calling him “somebody who can lead the country in a more enterprise-driven way.”

A few cars back, Ted Conklin, the owner of the American Hotel in Sag Harbor, long a favorite of the Hamptons’ well-off and well-known, could barely contain his displeasure with Mr. Obama. “He is a socialist. His idea is find a problem that doesn’t exist and get government to intervene,” Mr. Conklin said from inside a gold Mercedes, as his wife, Carol Simmons, nodded in agreement.

...the Hamptonoids have that plus self-importance: "I'm a VIP, I'm a big shot, therefore, you should pay attention to the ridiculous bullshit that comes out of my mouth.

Both groups: let them simmer by breathing each others' back wind for a while, then call it "liberal bias" when someone walks in and makes note of the odor in the room.

I'm so sick of hearing them run their mouths of how they think they are so much better than others. God fucking forbid if Rmoney gets elected, because we will have a class war like the likes you have never seen.

to see that this at least made MSNBC today. I don't watch CNN or Faux news, I have better taste than that.

Obviously the little coward who wouldn't identify herself when excoriating the "common" people has no taste at all, nor any dignity or class. If she truly believed what she was saying, she wouldn't care if people knew who she was.

This would probably be the time that the good Democrats in Sag Harbor and other places out east (I used to live there), decide they will find another place to dine and stay besides the American Hotel. The owner is too uneducated to understand what socialism is, since he throws that word around so casually. I'm certain he is a victim of Glenn Beck and Faux news, so one should feel sorry for him. Still, that's no excuse for being so lazy that one would use regurgitated garbage from the aforementioned idiots.

They really are repugnant.
