(44,116 posts)Obstructed exits. (So not obstruction of justice)
Staffers could and probably should file charges against Bannon if this report is true.

(81,220 posts)I'm no lawyer but I'd sure like to see one of these staffers come forward. Probably would have to resign. I wonder if he's made them all sign nondisclosure documents as a condition of employment.

(3,613 posts)I have never heard of a criminal charge called such a thing. A charge for kidnapping makes more sense.

Back to the point of the thread: this is probably a quiet day with Bannon around.

"Prediction prof: Trump will be impeached"

Taking time out of preparing to become the worlds most powerful leader, he wrote me a personal note, saying Professor Congrats good call, Lichtman writes in The Case for Impeachment, an advance copy of which was shared with POLITICO. What Trump overlooked, however, was my next big prediction: that, after winning the presidency, he would be impeached.

(9,670 posts)Obviously just a guess...but doesn't that sound like something Bannon would do to intimidate staffers who he suspected of leaking info to the press?

(152 posts)Friday and....Bannon is free as a bird, we haven't heard otherwise.
Why is that? If he physically restrained multiple people from leaving how is that not kidnapping? Even if they refuse to press charges it's a state crime, they can arrest him.
So why not? What fkg crime do these people have to commit before law enforcement moves it's collective ass?

(11,243 posts)When I searched for confirmation of the obstructions investigation, the only hits I get (other than bowel obstruction!) is referenced to Taylor. I hope he is right, but not getting too excited.... Logically, Bannon will be investigated too. He is the chief adviser. It's a safe guess to make.
White House issued an undated, retroactive ethics waiver for Bannon and other White House staff that does not appear to be legal. But that is more about his illegal contact with Breitbart after he took the White House job. Not sure it has anything to do with protecting him for obstruction charges. Hmmm...

(1,257 posts)Is that he is a fat disgusting pig of a man.
He has no morals, and is laboring under mind boggling delusions about what is right for our country.
He has no place being part of our world. He is evil.
I hope that he drinks himself to death ASAP.
Looks like he has a head start.
And that is my positive spin on my perception of him!
