Impeachment and removal is, I believe, their exclusive prerogative no matter what the circumstance.

And as we all know, someone could leak footage of Trump bathing in Russian piss and rubles, guffawing about how Uncle Vlad stole the election for him - and Bitchy Mitchy would STILL refuse to budge.

And no matter how utterly damning the evidence of electoral fraud, I just don't see Bitchy Mitchy and Eddie Munster budging one bit.

"stolen" election. Once sworn in, Trump will have to be impeached & convicted to get him out. However, I've read enough constitutional opinions, including Laurence Tribe, who believe he can, at a minimum, be indicted/charged while President. Whether he could be tried prior to impeachment & removal from office seems to be unlikely, however.

Mind you I DO NOT want to see that happen - primarily because martyrizing the fat bastard would only serve his extremist political ends like nothing else could.

I just find it bizarre that an agency created for the very purpose of precluding Russian/Soviet influence over our government, seems so utterly unwilling to do anything about it now that it's actually happened.

Leaking his tax records and Russian communications, for example.

Or rather, I never did until Ken Blackbox stole Ohio for the Midland Idiot in '04.

The mistake was letting the GOP get away with it then. Impunity made their making a habit of hacking elections inevitable.

And if anyone tried to talk:

But then we as a people need to stand up and DEMAND our election integrity be restored, and now.
