every time he lies he looks like he's about to giggle. He gets a cat that ate the canary look on his face and has to suppress a giggle.

(3,077 posts)Actually he has several. In addition to the nervous laughter, he gets defensive easily and his eyes bulge when he is trying not to divulge information. He also rambles but loses track of the question or deflects onto something that isn't related to the question. His body language is awkward and his facial expressions contradict his words.

(2,533 posts)as an attorney for camouflage & which is just his natural tell. I think the rambling & deflecting was done just to waste up the 5 minute time limit. I missed the eye bulge. I'll have to rewatch. Good catch

(3,077 posts)I think he takes so much for granted because he isn't used to being questioned. And his mindset has him stuck in 1950 so he oozes righteous indignation. The eye bulge is a big one and when he gulps and his adam's apple twitches, he's lying. I am a psychologist so I study people daily. I don't think he camouflages anything well but he probably hasn't really had to. He was on a big stage and he wasn't prepared for it.

(2,533 posts)He's had a privileged life for an awfully long time. I think sometimes those are the ones who think nothing will ever really happen to them. I really hope all this is not for nothing.
