Philando Castile, we're so sorry.

I can't comment here...

https://www.democraticunderground.com/118761610

so I'll post it here....

Hearing the verdict in this case in particular has been the most earth shattering news regarding the state of black americans lives in America today for me personally.

All that evidence. All that proof that this was absolutely murder. The officer walks, absolutely free.

That is the stupidest shit I've ever heard in my life. How anybody can deny this factual injustice that has purveyed the ENTIRE HISTORY OF AFRICAN AMERICANS just blows my fucking mind. It's so flagrantly ignorant to walk away from this case and feel, "welp, case closed."

No, that's not what goes through anyone's minds in a case like this. Anyone that agrees with that verdict... I hesitate to say they're uninformed. I can't give anyone that benefit of a doubt these days...

I'm so sorry Mr. Castile. We're going to keep trying.

How can this go on? This is a travesty of justice. My heartfelt condolences to his family and friends.

Care to explain why?

You can't post on my thread?

Do you have an issue with me and my post?

To be honest, I pissed off the wrong people while debating the definition of the word "Racism" and I THINK that's the main reason. If there's more reasons then I'm more than willing to explain myself to the right people.

Still an ally though. I'd like to let it all go. I've appealed to the mods but they stated that I seem like I still have issues since I made paranoid statements about believing that they're laughing at me amongst themselves (side effect of bipolar disorder. I'm not sure if I should apologize for not being trusting of people?) so, I can't comment in your thread.

So it's definitely not personal, no worries! In essence, this post IS my reply to your thread, since I couldn't make it there.

I took it as a slight. Thank you for your explanation.

Me, I am a poster at AA and have been welcomed. Your status, that is not something I can help you with.. I am not a host, just an ally.

I just felt a full explanation was best because if I just left it at, "I was banned from the AA group" it would lead to a lot of assumptions.

So yeah. I'm heartbroken for Castile's family. Especially his daughter.

that is what it is. Authorities can do what they want without fear of being held accountable. Check out the statistics for yourself. That is not the world I want to live in. It is going to take all of us to change this. The work started long ago, let us continue and finish it.

The naked, blatant racism in the face of all the evidence and live-streamed video and his girlfriend's eyewitness testimony as to the panicky, cowardly, murdering cop's actions is just too much for a caring, humane individual to ignore, which speaks to my post title.
