Looks Like American Support Cutting Minorities Out Of Federal Programs.

When you look at these elections and how close they are and how the GOP racist memes seem to get people to vote for them it looks like too many voters want minorities cut out of federal programs. The GOP meme is that the federal government gives ALL the money to minorities like blacks and hispanics and even illegal aliens as they phrase it.

It is all part of the white supremacist mantra that this country is meant for whites only. Looking that the Georgia election is comes down to the racist southern strategy. So many bigoted whites would rather give up their own life than see anything go to a black or hispanic or even LGBT.

We are a deeply hateful and racist country in the end. .

I keep trying to figure out why poor white voters support the GOP. All I can think is that they are so trapped in their world of white privilege they believe that when it's all over, and the GOP has destroyed the lives of the minority and white lower classes, white folks will exhale with their last breath "At least we're not [you pick the minority]".

It's the ultimate in cutting their nose off to spite their face.

The powers behind the GOP are interested primarily in money. But the general population that supports cutting back on welfare programs etc., do so because of racial animus (despite the fact that most people on welfare are in fact white). The GOP has known how to use racism as voting motivation for decades now.

The dixiecrat types would only agree to many new deal stuff if they could spite minorities and preserve feelings of white supremacy.

And it continues today in many areas. They don't want minorities to serve in the military, and spite them out of veterans benefits.

Minorities are blocked out from housing and fair mortgages/lending/crime sentencing/student loans/and much more. There is tremendous voter discrimination where minorities are challenged disproportionately higher and screwed out of proportional polling places, early voting locations and times, and having their names removed from voter rolls, miss-spelled documents, etc.

Some prominent GOP politicians have admitted that there are far more whites on SNAP, WIC, etc. than minorities. Newt Gingrich was called out on it while bloviating about it and he admitted it.

And even here on DU, many DUers know that minorities are born in America US citizens but desperately want to believe that Indian-Americans are just H1Bs with fake accents and documents coming here to steal American jobs. I've heard it too many times. People who know better have said it to my face. Perpetual foreigners no matter how many generations have lived here.

They desperately want to believe that America (and all its institutions, rights, benefits, protections, etc.) are for whites. When whites are only about 60% of the population and declining. Diversity is unstoppable. They tried it in South Africa where whites were a minority and it was unsustainable.

Millions of years of evolution fine tuned us to hate and fear the "other" who is not part of our tribe.

Even lowly ants will fight to the death to kill members of their same species, but who are from a different colony. There was a time when that was absolutely necessary to the survival of the tribe. That time has past, and it's past time we grow up as a species. But somehow I doubt it will happen.
