That would be terrible optics - beyond not living there.... even if it were done through small donation it would be improper use of campaign funds and probably, rightly, illegal.

Why couldn't he buy a cheap house in the district or move to an apartment in the district. Taking up residence in the district would take away a kind of strong talking point from the Repugs. Why give that talking point to them?
