Yummie, Yummie, Yummie - I got bugs in my tummy

Please note "THE NOTE" before we get all hyper about how much one has to consume to eat that amount of buggies and it displays the max. number of allowed insects or insect fragments.

SEATTLE (CBS) — Safeco Field, the home of the Seattle Mariners, has sold out of its newest menu item, toasted grasshoppers, for three days straight.

Chapulines — which are toasted grasshoppers, typically seasoned with lime, garlic or chili — are one of Safeco’s newest menu items for the 2017 season. Fried oysters, Poquitos-brand Mexican food, and new burgers were also added to the menu for Mariners fans.

It's easy to make the correlation between shrimp, crabs, lobster, and insects, spiders, and bugs.

The lobster was "Formerly regarded as "the cockroach of the sea" and fed to servants, migrants and even people's cats, lobster was the laughing stock of seafood. Regarded as a dish fit only for the poor, even having lobster shells in your house was looked upon as a sign of poverty." https://www.foodbeast.com/news/oh-lobster-you-so-fancy/

I watched one of those "extreme eats" programs on the Travel Channel and the host tried roasted tarantula that had been seasoned and pan-seared. He said it was essentially not much different from soft-shell crab.

Here's another good article:
