Hiring legal counsel isn't proof of one's guilt, of course; anybody who's got law enforcement people looking at them would be wise to do so just to be sure everybody follows the rules. But Trump's minions are a dodgy bunch, and I'm guessing they're nervous. Of course, Trump could pardon them before he goes down.

11. Not Only Afraid...

but a few of them are likely freaking the fuck out. Let's just look at what's been happening:

1. More and more denials of basically everything, and they're getting more ridiculous.
2. No one, and in some cases NO ONE, wants high-profile jobs with this ongoing train wreck.
3. Few officials are ever available for the press.
4. Spicey's move yesterday to not even allow cameras or audio recordings of statements by the press secretary.
5. EVERYONE, other than Mueller so far, who has had anything to do with investigating all of this has been fired.

The only thing we haven't seen yet, and I believe this will be the proverbial Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse for this disastrous regime, is when resignations begin to occur en masse. If Flynn is singing as has been suggested, that time draws relatively near. If The Marmalade Moron is actually dumb enough to fire Mueller, I think you'd see rats jumping ship the next day.

So yes, I think many members of this cabal are having a lot of trouble sleeping at night, as they should.
