Travelers to N Korea should sign waiver

U.S. Sen. John McCain says Americans who are “stupid” enough to still want to visit North Korea should be required to sign a waiver absolving the U.S. government of any blame if they’re harmed while there.

Maybe the family is considering actually suing Obama for not getting their son back?
I don't see how that could possibly hold up in court, though.

The man was an adult. He made his (extremely unwise) choices.

Not sure about the rest. Seems like any further would be a blatant infringement on Free Speech.

It's a horrible place. It only worked for Trump, as I've read, because he was sadly near death from being murdered by NK.

Otto Warmbier dies days after release from North Korean detention

By Susan Svrluga and Anna Fifield June 19 at 10:33 PM

-snip-

Warmbier’s death could push Congress or the Trump administration to restrict or ban Americans from traveling to North Korea.

Reps. Adam B. Schiff (D-Calif.) and Joe Wilson (R-S.C.) have introduced the North Korea Travel Control Act in the House, which would require Americans who want to travel to North Korea to obtain a license. There would be no licenses for tourists.

-snip-

Separately, Secretary of State Rex Tillerson has raised the prospect of the administration using an executive order to ban travel to North Korea.
