Hatch admits Trumpcare is too toxic to be seen by the public! Link to repubs to complain included!

https://www.dailykos.com/stories/2017/6/19/1672523/-Hatch-admits-Trumpcare-is-too-toxic-to-be-seen-by-the-public?detail=emaildkre;

Remember that senior aide in Senate Republican leadership? The one who said that Republicans weren't going to let the public see Trumpcare because "We aren't stupid"? We have a variation of that now from Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-UT), who knows that the bill is such a stinker that public discussion of it would be a massive problem for Republicans.

The lack of public debate appears to be a deliberate strategy by McConnell and his lieutenants to minimize opportunities for critical evaluation of their bill, which is likely to be highly controversial.
Senate Finance Committee Chairman Orrin Hatch (R-Utah) said holding public hearings about the legislation would only give Democrats more opportunity to attack the bill.

"We have zero cooperation from the Democrats," he said. "So getting it in public gives them a chance to get up and scream."
Of course, they have offered no opportunity for Democrats to "cooperate" on this bill. They've allowed zero opportunity for the fucking March of Dimes to cooperate on this bill, ditto the American Medical Association, the Association of Hospitals, American Cancer Society, you name it, they've been shut out.

Because if anyone outside of the Republican caucus sees it before McConnell has a chance to ram it through, there's the threat that his own people will bail out. Hatch just admitted it.

lose their existing standard of living and be forced to live on the streets.

Medicaid is next, then Medicare and SS.

This is not a secret, they want it, and unless there is a WAVE , an overwhelming WAVE of voter turnout next year, they will get it ALL.

they're that close to having the votes they need. BTW, I did contact the Pubs (since my full address is enclosed it will also go to MY Pub Sens) I asked if they REALLY loved their job, because they're trying so hard to get ousted!

Maybe it won't work, but I think the uneasiness of lots of the Pubs in the support of their constituents is making it very hard to get the votes, and I wasn't to make it as difficult as possible!

This isn't how it's supposed to work at all. And I'm sickened that Republicans will probably succeed in this gambit and pay little or no political consequences for it.
