Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsDoes anyone ever flip the bird at a car with a Hillary for Prison sticker?
I wanted to so bad today - but could never catch up along side.
So ironic - Hillary for Prison - poetic justice that their candidate is so much closer to prison than anyone else.

I have been known to holler "SHUT UP AND DRIVE" to idiots weaving all over the road because they're on the phone.

they used to have a bunch of flip cards for cars - that might be a good idea for Trump. Cards we can hold up like "guess who's going to prison now" !!

(3,569 posts)From Grass valley to Interstate 80.
My license plate frame said " my next license plate will be made by Bush and Cheney". Some guy, in a monster truck flipped me off, passed me, cut me off repeatedly, fell back and pretended to try to ram me, etc the entire way. We both got on the freeway, he continued, but then I pulled over abruptly, right in front of a CHP station. He continued down the road. I was scored, even as a big guy, driving a big truck.

But I always look at the drivers of cars festooned with anti-Dem, anti-Hillary, and/or anti-abortion stickers. Overwhelmingly, the driver is an angry-looking, middle-aged white guy who looks like he last got lucky during the Bush administration.

There were 3 occasions where I worked late and was the last person to leave. I made it a point to spit on it each time.

Then I would sue them for so blatantly violating my 1st amendment rights and buy a retirement home.
Of course as a middle aged white guy with a good job and resources I do not have to worry about being shot or hauled off to jail and killed.

She was driving and her husband was in the passenger seat enjoying the view - she kind of went semi-road rage and followed the guy until she could get next to him so she could flip him off. Her husband didn't know what was going on. It is that particular sticker that sets her off.

(42,770 posts)all that BS - how both sides should listen to each and compromise.
That only works in a world where things are the way things used to be. They neglect to mention that to compromise you have to have a common goal.
In the past, Republicans wanted the same thing. It was a given. It was just in the details. Under Eisenhower - everyone wanted to help the poor, for instance. It was just a matter of how much and in what way. Our crisis today is that they don't even WANT to help the poor. In other words - we don't have the same ultimate goals. The biggest elephant in the room is that they are allowed to get away with ACTING like they want good healthcare for all. Bottom line, what is pissing them off is making sure that we don't help less fortunate people.

(22,976 posts)Not saying I don't feel anger on the road for various reasons, but...does it make the situation better, or worse? Does make me feel better? Is escalating rage healthy for anyone? Should I let some bozo spoil my day completely? Could it lead to physical altercation and/or injury? Is my anger, no matter how "in the right" it may be, endangering the safety of others?
I'm not some softie, I'm 6'5", cagey, and in good shape. But do I want to take a chance that the other driver isn't packing? Oversized pick-ups plastered with lunatic bumper stickers aren't exactly indicators of mental health or stability. If I see one, I just take satisfaction in knowing his guiding light (#45) will soon have his Waterloo.
