His poll-numbers trended down ever since. He had the chance to put Handel away on national TV and blew it.

that have infested our party to play it safe. Of course this strategy didn't work out for Hillary very well either in the Primary when they scheduled debates on Saturday night when no-one would be watching, or in the General when she basically took all of August off from campaign rallies to do fundraisers, and Trump ended up getting back in the race.

in that District. It wouldn't have played well nationally. Plus, although I only saw first debate, Handel didn't do badly. Ossoff did fine, but she came across more moderate than Gingrich and Price who that District elected for several decades.

that all the attention to them from liberal areas of the country work against the people trying to slog away in red districts.

people who live in this district work in Charlotte and it's growing rapidly. This should be a district we can take back in the future so I hope Parnell runs again. There was a Green candidate on the ballot , David Kolma, but he only got 242 votes so that wasn't a big factor.
