It used to just be assumed that all sides wanted a free and fair election.

For generations, we thought that election officials and Secretaries of State were above the fray and truly wanted the voice of the people to be heard.

This is sadly, and clearly, no longer the case. The entire election system in this country needs to be rethought..which I realize is an impossibility given how much work the repubs have put into manipulating things to their advantage.

But, with the system currently in place, there is no way everyone can have faith in the results of any election. It will take overwhelming numbers to change anything at this point, and given the proclivity of many to fall for propaganda, I'm not holding my breath.
