(1,262 posts)That was the Teabagger mind scamble - as if they had no idea who was really keeping them down.
Now there's really not much difference left.
- I know, it's ironic.......

(5,178 posts)they only add fuel to the fire. We become coerced by the media to only pay attention to the most meaningless of scandals. Worry not that your money is working steadily & patiently to turn every last speck of remaining beauty in this world to a dollar sign. That your direct actions are legitimizing and adding your voice to the chorus of cash over country, money over environment, retirement over climate.
Let the chorus turn from a wail to a whimper.

(4,236 posts)I'm pissed the gov't doesn't parent these wayward children. Admittedly, it's tougher when you're being bribed 24/7, but I understand the feeling.

(7,887 posts)Not every corporation is destructive, but taking away The People's rights and giving them to corporations and letting those corporations "buy" elections and write legislation is destroying America.
Putting our rights to "life and liberty" into the hands of people who profit more by denying us both is a real definition of insanity.

(55,476 posts)A publicly held corporation, BY LAW, must make a profit. The minute it doesn't, shareholders (to whom the corporation serves) can hold a vote of no confidence, or even charge the boards and X-levels with fraud.
This is, and has been, a major path to disaster.

It's the government responsibility to control the corporations. Instead it's the other way around.
