Our eight year old grandson was in the car with us and

Someone pulled out in front of us and my husband (trying not to cuss) said "that is the craziest thing that I've ever seen". Reid said, "No, Papa, the craziest thing I've ever seen is Trump getting elected president". He's smarter than every republican in the country. Good parenting, thank you.

My oldest will be old enough to vote in the next election and he's really started paying attention. Talking politics with him has been the silver lining in all this mess.

Imagine being so young and KNOWING that your president is a STUPID, horrible, YUGE, know-nothing? Kids are supposed to feel safe, and this poor kid learned very young that the people in charge shouldn't be.
