And it dawned on me.
We would look like North and South Korea...crazy despot and all.

We are both from California, and as you are aware the Senate just passed single payer in concept, and it is going through the assembly right now. Not sure if it will be successful or not, but based on what the republicans are trying to do with healthcare, it probably stands the best chance that it has ever had in years, and if it is successful, I would not be surprised to see other states joining in, just like they did when California, Washington, Oregon, and NY York stood together to honor the Paris Accords

(118,492 posts)massive migration and all happened in Canada regarding Quebec. Thankfully we are still together. But there are huge numbers of losers in any split. Don't wish it.
