going to try to unite on issues such as healthcare, the environment, and other issues that the republicans and those in the WH want to destroy

We are both from California, and as you are aware the Senate just passed single payer in concept, and it is going through the assembly right now. Not sure if it will be successful or not, but based on what the republicans are trying to do with healthcare, it probably stands the best chance that it has ever had in years, and if it is successful, I would not be surprised to see other states joining in, just like they did when California, Washington, Oregon, and NY York stood together to honor the Paris Accords

massive migration and all happened in Canada regarding Quebec. Thankfully we are still together. But there are huge numbers of losers in any split. Don't wish it.

resources, planning, and implementation, where residents can cross borders and still have their care, like, ta da...the EU that oughta make repubs angry as hell and the rest of americans envious

The country will splinter into many pieces and there will be no peace for decades or centuries. The U.S. will become a myth.
