People! Flipping a district is not as easy as it sounds!

And you're not going to get it on the first try. It's like when your candy bar gets stuck in the vending machine. You're not going to shake it loose on the first try. You have to rock it back and forth a few times, then it goes over. Let's keep this in mind. We're 0 for 4, but a gain in points is a gain in points. And I'll take that over a loss in points any day!

You don't easily dislodge a GOPer in a rich white suburb of Atlanta where they've voted GOP every single time for some 40 years. It's like the exact opposite of my district: One reason Keith Ellison was considered for the DNC job was because if he left the House there was still no way in hell a GOPer could win MN-5. I don't even remember the name of the Republican who ran against him in November. And that's one reason why Trump appointed Tom Price, among all the available right-wing nutbags, to HHS - they knew the seat was safe. I'm not gnashing my teeth and rending my clothing over this one.

It tells me that I've only inserted a quarter. I'm afraid to rock the machine because there is a security camera placed directly above it. I called the number on the machine, but there was just a recorded message about how wonderful the Acme Snacks company is.
