Yesterday In Iowa Trump Spoke Of A Solar Wall For The Mexican Border.......

He spoke about this like it was his idea and that he was brilliant for thinking of it.

Now I don't believe he came up with this. I heard about such and idea months ago and it didn't come from the White House.

Does anyone here know who came up with the idea of a 'solar wall' and when did they come up with it?

Trump is lying to us again - and I'm thinking that this one is easy to refute and prove out that it wasn't his idea.

Any help would be appreciated.

Setting up a framework in which Trumpy's lying becomes a topic of discussion isn't very helpful. Lies aren't up for debate. They're lies, plain and simple, and they should be summarily dismissed as such.

show the 'deplorables' that support him that they are being taken for 'suckers' for believing his lies. I believe his lies are a means to erode his base support and therefore should not be summarily dismissed as such.

3. There was a bid on his contract to build the wall that included solar panels,

thus the idea was not his but rather that of a firm who bid on the contract.

Further, the idea may not have been new when the firm bid on the contract anyway. However, at the very least it is clear Trump did not just come up with the idea on his own.
