C'mon Wisconsin, time to open your wallets....
Received this from my Senator, Tammy Baldwin, yesterday....so today is "Cheddarbomb" day!
"In Wisconsin, we're seriously proud of our cheddar.
And in Wisconsin politics, we're proud of a tradition we call the Cheddarbomb, our version of a grassroots moneybomb.
Tomorrow is this year’s Cheddarbomb, and we're setting a goal of $30,000. It’s a big goal, so help us get ahead by giving $5, or whatever you can, now.
We’re setting this goal because Super PACs and out-of-state millionaires are already pouring in money to fund false attack ads. One out-of-state millionaire alone has already invested $2 million to beat this grassroots team. They’re trying to buy one of Wisconsin's Senate seats!
I know our goal seems like a lot to raise. But remember — there is power in numbers.
If everyone gives even $5 or $10, it'll add up and prove that this grassroots team is ready to fight against the special interests who are going to keep attacking us.
If we come together and hit this goal, one grassroots contribution at a time, it'll show that no millionaire, billionaire, or corporation can drown out our voices.
