Highlighting 20+ million losing their coverage won't work

People with employee covered health insurance need to know in what ways the ACA benefits them and precisely how the AHCA destroys that. And how the AHCA will decimate Medicaid which helps 3 out of 5 people in nursing homes.

Millions losing their coverage is tragic but I am not convinced it resonates.

The GOP successfully tied employer health insurance with ACA market place insurance. We first have to distinguish the differences before we get anywhere because most people have employer based health care.

Once we do that, we have to show how it hurts red states more than blue states because, honestly, I think that most Republican and conservative voters have no problem shootings themselves in the foot in order to hurt liberal blue states.

where will they go? Back home, right, to live with their sons and daughters.

homes WILL resonate, because the grandparents will be soon living with them, and they will have to find the resources to take care of them. Big choice, fork over the money to keep them in homes, or juggle their jobs to give hands on care.
The older the grandparents, the more intensive care they will need, not to mention the cost of medications.

And I say this because they are already blaming Obama for it. In my town, the Deplorables' kneejerk sentiment is that Trump has to cut these programs because of the way Obama (or, more precisely, "Barry HUSSEIN Obummer&quot destroyed the economy.

In short, I agree with you.

Democrats must not be afraid to depict GOP policies on health care as the crimes against humanity they are.

If this monstrosity of a bill becomes law, we'll end up seeing tens of millions of sick Americans thrown out of doctors' offices and hospitals for lack of ability to pay, only for them to be taunted by heartless repunks afterwards. We'll see people thrown out of their homes because the rethugs will steal their free-and-clear homes in order to force them to pay exorbitant medical bills if they do receive treatment. In short, this is a genocide order masquerading as a health care bill which will result in tens of millions of previously independent people slowly dying on the streets, either of exposure or murder.

This is how we have to frame this argument! Quit being polite and nice and hit the rethugs where it hurts them the most!!!
