I wonder if we'll ever see his state partner show his face regarding this - after all, he ran his campaign from his Mom's front sidewalk, saying what a wonderful son he was.

So, HEY, PAT TOOMEY, you gonna' sell us all down the river for your 1% rich fat-cat friends?

Gee, I wonder how much fun Mom will have at her next card-club meeting with her other friends?

was on the committee to draft that nightmare. And Toomey just go re-elected in this last freak PA election (where Democrats won top-of-the-state-ticket races but not President and his seat as Senator) so he doesn't give a shit.

He used to be pretty under-the-radar but he's starting to make his voice heard.
I know a lot of you here dismiss him because he's "pro-life" BUT I can't remember when or if he's ever introduced legislation that would restrict a woman's right to choose. He recently had a great piece on FB about how he supports Planned Parenthood *because* he's pro-life and they reduce the number of abortions. (Amazing how no repug has ever come to the same conclusion.) I think he's of the Joe Biden/Tim Kaine school of thought here: he's "personally opposed" due to his Catholic faith but doesn't feel it's his place to impose that belief legislatively.
I'd love to see Sen. Casey run for POTUS or be a running mate someday.

Although I am adamantly pro-choice, my family, the Casey's, and so many others are Catholic, Kennedy Democrats who come from Scranton, PA.

How many times have I listened to him and thought "Jesus, Bob, show some emotion... yell, holler, scream".
Well today he DID and it was refreshing. Boy... is he pissed.
