Do poor white Trump supporters deserve any sympathy at this point?

I was somewhat willing to accept that a poor white Trump voter could get suckered in by his con. Flim-flam men have always been around, and they can be effective in tricking desperate people in particular.

But at this point, we KNOW that Trump is promoting bills that would hurt the poor and working class, of all races. Including Trump's own base. In fact that only reason the bills haven't become law is that they are not mean ENOUGH for some Republicans.

In spite of this, Republican house candidates are still getting elected. Trump still has his same supporters. Apparently because he hates some of the same people they hate.

I'm really about ready to give up on these people and to be physically unable of feeling sorry for any misfortune that might befall them.

I know several of them. Some are the nicest people you would ever want to meet until you talk politics.

Basically what I am saying is that these people have been and are being duped. Now you could certainly argue they are letting it happen but when i actually talk to most of these folks about any number of subjects trying to just stick to the issue. Thing is they think republicans are fighting for these things. Or think that democrats are working to destroy these things.
