Man who stabbed airport cop in Flint yesterday tried to buy a gun in the US but was

unsuccessful. Instead he used a knife on his victim who was able to fight back and get the terrorist under control. Who says gun laws do not save lives.

A guy in China went crazy with a knife. All the NRA types said, "see? Knives are dangerous, too!" Only in China, no one died.

There are a number of knife attacks in China which have produced multiple fatalities.

Combined. In regard to my earlier post, what are your thoughts on the subject of knife control? Considering the incident in Portland recently in addition to those high-profile I mentioned, it seems this conversation is long overdue.

Was purchased by the perpetrator specifically for this purpose. I wonder if a mandatory waiting period could have potentially prevented this tragedy. Do you have any thoughts on knife control legislation?

Possibly based on configuration. Perhaps required on any knife with a blade over 1.5 inch in length, and any knife with a spear type point.

at home. Any more than that, and the gun owner is likely sick and/or just a white wing racist. It's really quite simple.

Maybe it did. Maybe he had never fired a gun and would have fumbled and not been able to operate it or would have missed.

Maybe he would have gotten a shot off but hit the officer in his vest and the officer would have actually sustained less severe wounds.

if we had stronger gun laws, more deaths would be prevented.

But I guess some people will just not realize that until it happens to someone close to them.
