They are taking our healthcare away

I wonder if this is really what the rust belt voters thought they were going to get.

I am listening to the news, it is hard to believe this is really happening.

This isn't the will of the people, or anything like it.

It is the power of a small number of people possessed by greed that would make the robber barons of the gilded age blush from shame.

My parents fought the same power in the 30s and 40s, and Social Security still stands.

We were able to hold on to our heathcare for less than 8 years before they stole it from us.

We need to renew our fighting spirit, and we must be fearless.

1. The problem is that so many Republicans bought so many lies

The biggest one was that Obamacare and th ACA were two different things. Obamacare was free stuff for POC (only they don't say POC) and the ACA was a set of reforms for hard working white people who get insurance at work. Many of them who were diagnosed with any sort of illness during the last couple of years are going to be in for a very big surprise if the GOP tax cut health "plan" passes. Women who get their routine care through PP are going to be shut out. And old folks in nursing homes will be shifted to families or out on the street. That is how heartless this "plan" is, all to give billionaires more money.

No one is hearing about any of this, of course, if they get all their news from television and radio. And therein lies the problem. All they know is that they're getting all them blacks and Messcans off their backs. Their addlepated bigotry and utter ignorance will destroy this country, starting with the ACA.

2. Well, reality is going to hit them

It's really sad it came to this.
