The "future of the GOP" was on the closed door 13 rewriting the ACHA. Today he claims today was the first time he saw the bill.
As a coloradoan, I apologize to you all for not working harder for Mark Udall.....

(29,692 posts)Evil seems to win lots and lots and lots.
But I'm told the arc of justice swings wide. So, if this is a pendulum affair, it will swing back the other way.

(1,883 posts)CONs have tried to stop progress since day one, they never want to lose power. It's like evolution, you can't go backwards. They will use dirty tricks to try to go back, but it doesn't last long in the big scheme...

(17,984 posts)Gardner MUST go! After I got a form letter from him telling me how wonderful Sessions was, I realized how evil he is.

(102,119 posts)inability to hold my tongue upon hearing this, prior to his (Gardner's) election to the Senate. He was a dear, highly educated man with whom I'd shared many great talks about our love for dogs, for world travel, for Colorado. Yet, this one heated discussion left a rift that was never healed and he died a few months later. I went to his funeral and sat in deep regret that we'd never been able to work through our differences.
That, said, I was absolutely right about that woman-hating selfish pig, Gardner and his propensity to lie about nearly anything to get elected. Still, how bitter the pill that Gardner cost me a dear friendship and now, may cost nearly us all access to healthcare.

(1,883 posts)But his gig is up on healthcare. Ironically he is not universally loved in Yuma....

(15,798 posts)to leave some comments on the health "care" act. The office was closed. We were just saying that Udall's staff was always available; there were times when I was downtown and would stop in to chat for a bit. It is significant that Mark often went out of his way to meet with us, but Gardner goes out of his way to avoid meeting with us. He was awful as a congressman, he's carrying that sad dys-ability to the senate. What's scary is that he has higher ambitions, and the party seems to be grooming him for that. Ew.
Now is definitely not the time to sit down and shut up.

(8,617 posts)2020 is also a Presidential Election year and the Anti Trump coattails in CO will help Democrats unseat Gardner. We first need to make sure a Democrat holds onto the CO Governorship in 2018 and defeats Heller-NV and Flake-AZ.

(2,795 posts)Just another example of off year elections where dems stay home and don't vote. You get that ridiculous lap dog to whomever is the highest bidder.
