Video of Trump driving on the golf green goes viral

President Trump drove his golf cart on the green in a video released Thursday.

Typically, driving on the carefully manicured green at a golf course is forbidden. Critics and fellow golfers reacted with horror to the video.

Sports Illustrated, sharing the video in a tweet, called it the "most Trump thing ever.”

“Never drive on the green, unless you own the course or are the most powerful man in the world,” tweeted the golf podcast Fore Play.

A Twitter user going by @MikeNFrank apparently captured the video at Trump National Golf Club in New Jersey. Trump owns the golf club.

In the video, Trump — wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat — drives up to the camera and offers a fist bump.

He was playing “good until this hole,” Trump says. He also comments that his Secret Service detail provides the “best security in the history of golf.”
