Senate Health Care Bill Could Result in 18,100 to 27,700 Additional Deaths in 2026

. . .Assuming that 15 million fewer people would have coverage in 2026, we estimate that the coverage losses from the Senate bill would result in 18,100 additional deaths in 2026.

Assuming that 19 million fewer people would have coverage, we estimate that the coverage losses from the Senate bill would result in 22,900 additional deaths in 2026.

Assuming that 23 million fewer people would have coverage, we estimate that the coverage losses from the Senate bill would result in 27,700 additional deaths in 2026. If coverage losses from the Senate bill matched those from the House bill, it would result in 217,000 additional deaths over the next decade.

Allocating these coverage losses among the states, this analysis also presents estimates of additional deaths by state.

I live in a red state so I always check red states first! The fucking R voters are going to be dropping like flies. It's insanity at it's finest. The dumb Rs are voting for the very pols that are killing them, and the R politicians are killing off their base.

I can't outright ROFL because there are so many people who did NOT vote for this shit that will be killed in the carnage.

I really fucking hate republicans. Sorry if that is considered hate or intolerance or whatever under the TOS. I just fucking hate them.

I probably did it incorrectly and I am sure I will find out after this reply. I was an elementary school teacher but I am a little rusty. If there are 327,000,000 people in the US and 23 million are effected (I am one of them unfortunately) that equals 1/13 of the population. From their evil agenda perspective that isn't enough to really change enough votes when it is re-election time. Especially given the fact that half of the population doesn't vote and those that do tend to forget what the nominees' political voting record was and they don't care anyhow. Besides, "IT" was elected to "shake things up" and because he is a thuggish bully. So much for issues and policies.

It doesn't show what happens when the states repeal the insurance requirements and preventive care/diagnostics are no longer required to be covered. So many people assume that because they get their insurance through their employer they won't be impacted at all. Apparently, they have forgotten all those plans that didn't cover much of anything.
