I used to work as a re-engineering quality person and we worked on problems and how to solve them. Normally, the way things were done there was the managers would get together, talk about it, and then make a decision - which went over like a lead balloon and usually didn't work. So, with our new quality initiative, we switched things up and had task groups with employees and they would come up with the solutions. Worked much better that way. What we and the Dem Party are doing or suggesting what we should do to win over these people. We guess and come up with plans. Instead we should get it from the horses mouth. At least get ideas.
I don't get these people, don't understand them cannot relate despite having relatives who used to be Republicans. I have a BA and a Masters in Psychology and am a counselor. I still don't understand them. I can only theorize. I think a great idea would be for us to have task forces. Talk to Dems who didn't vote for Hillary and indies and get it from their mouths. Instead of guessing .

(4,820 posts)Dems should be canvasing in every district to find people who did not vote in 2016 and ask them what would get them off their butts and down to the polling station. Picking up 10% of the "Did not vote" vote would win most any district. Seldom do more than 50% of registered voters even vote. And this is without considering all the obstacles thrown up by the Republicans.
