Even in writing, after the work gets done, they immediately want to re-negotiate your fee.
My response to that is always the same, "After thirty days past due, this bill gets turned over to my attorney for further action. No exceptions."
What I don't tell them is that both of my brothers are attorneys that do all of our family's business pro bono.
They make it reeeeeealll expensive for the other guy.

(10,778 posts)... that rich people aren't rich enough. They'd love to create more jobs -- out of the goodness of their hearts, despite the stagnant markets for goods and services -- but they're kinda strapped right now.
Of course, Republicans can't just come out and say it that way because it sounds so brain-dead idiotic, so we get "job creators" instead, and an open invitation to jump to our own irrational conclusions.
