Disabled people in this country need to come out in mass and protest.

The more I think about it the more it seems like massive, coast to coast, protests by the disabled is the best response to the Rethugs efforts to destroy health care in this country. Protest at their US Senators and Reps offices, State Capitols, major cities, and everywhere else.

Thinks about what would happen.
1. Think about law enforcement having to deal with arresting thousands if not millions of disabled people and the optics of that
2. Where would they put the people?
3. How would they feed them and provide necessary medical attention?
4. Most disabled people don't have a lot of money so they would have the right to state appointed lawyers
5. Everyone arrested would have their right to their day in court which would create a huge log jam in the court system.
6. They would become the major news story and the MSM would not be able to avoid covering it.
7. Add in any other groups that would be destroyed by the sharp reduction in Medicaid. Imagine families bringing out their children to protest. Imagine the optics of law enforcement turned on families with children.
8. Imagine public appeals to the foreign community for assistance to help against a tyrannical government.

There is a potential to make the situation so toxic that it could really tear down the Republican Party and Trump's Administration and make it impossible for them to get anything done. Donald Trump has a life long fear of being publicly humiliated and massive protests by the disabled would do that. Social Media would be effective in making it public that Trump is the first US President that drove his own citizens to the US version of an Arab Spring.

This is something that has the potential biggest bang for your buck in trying to take down the Republican Party and Trump.

Maybe a plan could be to pose thousands of empty wheelchairs to show how many would be affected and or killed by the tax cut. Chain hundreds or thousands together so that intersections or government offices would get shut down and be impassable.

too many able-bodied persons don't realize the challenges others go through and why in-person protests and other gatherings simply aren't possible for millions of people who are engaged and informed and who care deeply.

The wheelchair idea would be good.

Perhaps another idea is that pictures of friends and loved ones who would like to be there to protest could be used as well. Those who are able to attend protests in person could hold signs saying MY FRIEND/SON/DAUGHTER/MOTHER/FATHER/SPOUSE CAN'T BE HERE SO I'M HERE FOR THEM and have their pic taped to the poster.

assist that person will be needed. If you're calling for this protest by people with disabilities, you'll need to remember that. Are you planning to help someone participate in the protest? Who will that person be?

Maybe churches could actually do something that their Jesus would have done.
