What Will It Take For People To Wake UP? Democrats Message Not The Problem.

The fault is NOT with Democrats or the message. It is in the stupidity and intransigence of the voters. If such evil like Trump and the GOP and what they are up to is not enough then nothing is enough. It boggles the mind that voters are so dense.

By every measure Hillary should have won. The excuse that fighting a monster is not enough is a false flag. It should be enough. I simply do not buy that the Democrats had no agenda. The GOP agenda is death through and through.

I said that the fake prez would win the minute I saw him going down that escalator and the reason was/is due to the fact that Americans are "dumber than dirt" and getting more so with each passing day. That is my theory and I am sticking with it until proven otherwise.

another election is coming in just 16 months. The repugs won last round. But the fight lasts many more rounds.

do not appreciate that the Democratic party is NOT monolithic party. Issues for Democrats in red or purple states are not the same for Democrats in blue states. This was the whole point behind Howard Dean's 50 State Strategy. It recognized those differences.

The republican party on the other hand is much more a monolithic party.

It is the job of Democrats to figure out how to convince the people and they'd better because the Republicans HAVE figured it out.

That is what politics is.....leading and persuading the people.

in every successful advertising (as well as a political) campaign. It doesn't make any difference if you're selling coffee, shoes or a political policy, it's all about how effective you are in capturing the public's interest and shaping their positive perception of your brand. Look at how successful Starbucks, Nike and the Republican Party have been in promoting their respective brands. Dems can't browbeat voters into buying what we are selling, but they can work on delivering the right message that will produce the desired results. We just can't seem to find one that is effective.

Will get it for them...
All of which is a complete fabrication....
just as is the social media 'bandwagon' illusion KGOP creates via bots & trolls & weaponized data & faux news.
KGOP utilizes the WWE programming format
Establishing a contrived fued between villian & good guy... complete with trash talk that is scripted and fictionally based.

Essentially, KGOP has
mastered the art of Virtual Reality creation...
Lured their base into this charade ...
and have successfully captivated their audience to the point that the base perceives the charade as reality.

Why do they go to all of this effort?
IMo,

Because the truth is boring.
People want desperately to escape the hum drum Day to day Routine
of getting up ...
earning a living...
coming home....
and paying the bills....

Hence.... the prevalence of those who thought it would be a good idea to "shake up DC"...
They took the notion of constitution based liberty, freedoms, & democracy for granted ...

They wanted to shake up DC ... and instead they have shaken the very foundation of our democracy.
Unfortunately, for us, they have no idea that this is where true reality is currently at...
All they know is whatever dramatic fictionalized scenario the KGOP Machine feeds into their Virtual Reality Narrative.

As long as the KGOP can keep the base emotionally engaged and happy with the 'fued', there is no such thing as an honest truth-based 'Wake Up' message that will sway the members of the KGOP's audience.

If anything... the mesmerized KGOP base might be an effective 'example' to use as a catalyst to encourage NEW voters to get involved...
get informed... & get their butts to the voting booth in order to fight against the mindless KGOP
Zombie's who are currently attacking our Constitution, indiv. Rights, healthcare & democracy, etc.

There are two things that hurt us, one of them is completely our fault, one of them is completely not our fault.

Our Fault: Our public facing leaders represent a pretty narrow geography of the United States, we did this much better in the fairly recent past.

Not Our Fault: We own "the left" and when they run amok, even when they're running around saying the Democrats are neo-liberal corporatist facists, we suffer when they offend the sensibilities of middle America because of our stupid political dichotomy. This is a huge frustration because when some clowns start waving the old hammer and sickle around in Europe nobody assumes them to represent the center-left or even socialist parties.
