Where are the new voices coming from?

Take Mark Shields, please!! He has been on air since the 80's. He is 80. He has yet to make a point that sticks. Katrina vanden Heuvel is so off-putting. She has lost the big picture altogether.

As much as Rahm Emanuel is too conservative for Democratic young voters today or myself a boomer, he made great arguments on Sunday shows and cable news in 2006 and 2008. Where is the Rahm for 2017/18? I don't think the DCCC chair is making a very good impression.

I think what is needed is a relay team of voices. And we need a visible, young, white male rep to show Democrats are also caucasion. I believe the perfect man for the job is Joe Kennedy. Maybe he can pick a group of peers to relay with.

Any other ideas?

JON OSSOFF, DEMOCRATIC CONGRESSIONAL CANDIDATE: This is not the outcome any of us were hoping for, but this is the beginning of something much bigger than us.

From another thread. No reason to not put a known name out there to speak out. Problem is getting corporate news to broadcast him. But he should be embraced. He's a moderate who lost to a woman who doesn't believe in health care for the working poor. (Most likely why robots are preferable. Expose that truth.) And ran on paying people wages where they could not afford health care. THAT SHOULD BE SHOUTED FROM THE ROOFTOPS.

How Jason Kander Won by Losing

The hottest star in Democratic politics might be the future of the party—if only he can figure out how.
