He thinks the Israeli-Palastenian war is about rental control and housing rather than that being the least of the problems. I'm sure the two countries will be willing to wait for a Democratic president, if Israel would stop their illegal actions.

Trump & Co. believed that they could "make a deal" with what's worked in the past for them: coercion, threats, perhaps a little bribery.

They truly believed they could make Abbas accept the loss of disputed West Bank land, apartheid, and permanent refugee camps.
