Medicaid cut- NO PROBLEM- Just go out and get a job

White House counselor Kellyanne Conway on Sunday came right out and said what so many Republicans are probably thinking ― that taking Medicaid away from able-bodied adults is no big deal, because they can go out and find jobs that provide health insurance.

Apparently nobody has told Conway that the majority of able-bodied adults on Medicaid already have jobs. The problem is that they work as parking lot attendants and child care workers, manicurists and dishwashers ― in other words, low-paying jobs that typically don’t offer insurance. Take away their Medicaid and they won’t be covered

O.K.- NOW DOES EVERYONE UNDERSTAND----

95 year old granny can carry coal in her lap while wheeling her wheelchair out of the mine shaft. She could be the one who helps blow holes for more coal and if she is fast enough in her wheelchair she will be fine and if she doesn't she will not have to worry about health care now will she?

Neither seemed old enough to be retired and neither looked wealthy or even middleclass. These are the people that suffer badly under Trumpcare unless they win the lotto, IMO.

I have both physical and physiological issues that make it so I am not able to work ( tried for years against doctor orders ) and people do well at making me feel like I am sucking off the system even though I put into it before I became disabled. those of us who do not "look" disabled no matter how bad it is are going to be the first ones they attack. There is just something about society needing to see that you are disabled from a quick look. I am not saying other disabled people are not going to get screwed also but that for those of us who do not look it we are going to be first.

as much as i possibly can.

What they haven't attacked are the physicians/healthcare providers/clinics that make millions bilking "we the people" out of our tax dollars.

For fucks sake, one company bilking 17 billion adds up to a lot of folks getting an extra $4.76 in their disability check.

And it goes on, and on, and on.
