MSNBC ******BREAKING ****** SENATE PULLS BILL AS SUPPORT FALTERS *

We rolled them.

*No vote this week. This version of the bill has been pulled. The only thing delay will do is give the opposition time to coalesce. Of course they can reintroduce a bill. They can reintoduce it to infinity.
Great article on why :

If they pass it with 50 plus Pence then every Senator has to return to his home state as being the deciding vote.

If they pass it with 51 one every Senator can say "it was going to pass anyway and I was able to get some valuable changes into it".

For this reason Republican leadership NEVER brings things up for a close vote. They want at least 4-5 votes so every member can walk away from personal responsibility.

If it comes down to 50 votes plus Pence they will not bring it to a vote because every Republican Senator would have to take 100% responsibility for a terrible bill knowing that Trump will still criticize it on a tweet one day.

This bill never had a chance to pass and will never come to a vote.

The gang that can't shoot straight, misses yet again...

The other repeal votes were in full knowledge that if the Senate didn't vote them down, Obama would veto it. So they didn't bother to put together a workable replacement. And, so far, it looks like nothing has changed on that score, although they can't blame it this time on Obama's expected veto.

Sad.

I'm so sorry the sick people who are pawns in this game of chicken

but know the GOP RIGHT has painted itself into a corner here: fail to repeal - failure.
repeal - failure of policy. Painting this as a win for anyone other than Mitch's 400 Billionaires
is a hard sell.

Democrats will make bank on it either way.
