... is for Mueller to end it with no conclusive findings.
Perhaps Trump did not collude with Putin or Russia specifically? Perhaps he colluded with Russians operating in other countries, like Kazakhstan, or the Ukraine, or Turkey, or Cyprus? That would not be colluding with Russia or Putin, specifically speaking.
They are now reportedly investigating the finances of Donald Trump and his associates. That is most likely where they will find criminal malfeasance? Behind every great fortune lies a great crime, someone once said. That is probably likely in this case, also.
Maybe Mueller will not search in all these dark corners? Maybe he will not find the details of the money laundering operations and the many different techniques they use to move their illegal money around? Real estate, gambling, campaign contributions, etc? Once that money has changed hands, it is difficult to trace.
It would be bad if nothing was found, with so many knowing that we are being ruled (governed) by a criminal enterprise. We can only be patient and hope justice can run its course.

(9,670 posts)Put together the most slam-dunk case in one area - obstruction, for instance - and indict accordingly, while continuing to investigate and add charges as the cases develop?
Once ensnared in the justice system, Trumpco would only be able to watch their prospects disintegrate over time. What a joy that would be!

(12,344 posts)I think he will wait until he finds all the crimes and present them it once. First, he won't want to tip his hand by slow dripping the findings. Second, the obstruction case is stronger if there are a lot of crimes to obstruct.
