Why are you repeating FAKE NEWS. And it was the overwhelming power of the right wing media spreading such lies that enabled the constitutional coup that ousted the President going after the corruption and that enabled the end of democracy in Brazil.

We need to take a lesson before the same becomes "Mission Accomplished" by the corrupt Republicans in the USA.

And your bullshit explanation contradicts itself since Temer clearly wasn't able to prevent Car Wash from sticking to him...

So are you in favor of removing Temer? Or is that another "constitutional coup?"

I'll tell you what I love about Greenwald -- He was screaming "coup" before it even happened, and hasn't stopped screaming yet... But with literally a thousand times more evidence supporting Kremlingate, the Intercept continues to say even TODAY that there still isn't enough proof for a connection...

So please, tell me more about this "fake news" you fucking speak about... I can't wait for all the "coup" hot takes from the usual suspects once we finally get Trump outta here...

Corruption Charges Against Temer Move to Brazil's Lower House
29 June 2017
Brazilian President strongly denies receiving and approving bribes in the nation's largest corruption investigation.

The corruption charges against President Michel Temer have been delivered to the Lower House of Congress, moving the process towards the final stages before lawmakers vote on whether he should be tried and removed from office.

The request for charges will be considered first by the House Constitution and Justice Committee, before going to a vote in the Full House, probably at the end of July.

If a total of 341 out of the 513 lawmakers vote in favor, the Supreme Court will open a trial.

In that case, Temer would be suspended for up to 180 days for the trail and to await the verdict.

The Attorney General Rodrigo Janot made his request for the charges to be brought against Temer on Monday and it was delivered to Brazil's Supreme Court of Justice on Wednesday.

Janot formally accused Temer and his aide Rodrigo Rocha Loures of receiving and approving bribes in the largest corruption investigation in the country known as Operation Car Wash.

On Wednesday, it was announced that Temer has chosen Raquel Dodge as the next Attorney General to replace Janot, who is due to step down in September.

Reports allege Temer chose Dodge — who has opposed Janot in the past and is far more sympathetic to the president's allies in congress — to gain the necessary votes to avoid a corruption trial.
