A little perspectie on "Mikagate"

The Central Park 5, five innocent American citizens that Trump wanted to lynch.

Media, Republican pundits, Republican Senators are "shocked, shocked" that Trump has sent out an offensive tweet.

The most offensive statement Trump made was when just before the election he railed against the release (10 years ago) of the "Central Park 5". The CP5 was a group of 5 teenagers who were in Central Park at the time of a horrendous near death beating of a jogger. They were skate boarding and were brought in and subjected to relentless interrogation. One of the youth was slightly mentally disabled and the police got him to name his friends after hours of lies and harsh interrogation. Others made false confessions to avoid the death penalty.

After years in jail Matias Reyes, a convicted rapist who faced lifetime imprisonment confessed to the crime and his DNA was found on the victims clothes.

The boys were released, the city apologized and paid $ 40 million damages out for their miscondect.

After their arrest Trump spent $ 85,000 to ramp up hatred of the boys in advertising to bring back the death penalty, he was trying to lead a modern day lynch mob.

In October of last year, ten years where there innocence was proven, without any provocation or reason Trump stated that he would like to re arrest the Central Park 5, and presumably, lead the crowd to send them to the death penalty.

Republicans, pundits, Republican Senators and Congresspeople who are so shocked at this attack on Mika, where was your concern for his attack on 5 innocent African American teenagers?

You had your chance.

You could have stood together with a united country condemning the reckless wild expressions of this delusional megalomaniac who has no sense of personal control or propriety. Yes the tweet about Mika is revolting but it doesn't amount to 5% of the outrage that you should have had last October when he tried to restart a lynch mob against 5 innocent American citizens.

Now he is just your guy.

They truly are clueless and have no moral compass when dealing with his "personality" whether it is working on legislation or defending his behavior.
