"Malignant narcissism"?

*I  believe that the president of the United States has some  mental issues.

Here is another example why: As Anderson Cooper said earlier, "Why would a man who has been on a number of  Time magazine covers choose to make up a fake one to place in his properties all over the world?"

snip

Isn't it funny that the man who is always accusing the press of giving us fake news is living a life of fakery, himself?

This might not seem like a big deal, but believe me, it speaks to some deeper issues.

"Malignant narcissism is a psychological syndrome comprising an extreme mix of narcissism, antisocial personality disorder, aggression, and sadism. Often grandiose, and always ready to raise hostility levels, the malignant narcissist undermines organizations in which they are involved, and dehumanizes the people with whom they associate.
Malignant narcissism is a hypothetical, experimental diagnostic category. Narcissistic personality disorder is found in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental

Disorders (DSM-IV-TR), while malignant narcissism is not. As a hypothetical syndrome, malignant narcissism could include aspects of narcissistic personality disorder as well as paranoia. The importance of malignant narcissism and of projection as a defense mechanism has been confirmed in paranoia, as well as "the patient's vulnerability to malignant narcissistic regression"' [Source]

Hmmm. That sure sums the Con up nicely.

the 'social' part of anti-social is very, very important. He has no inner resources - no ability for introspection, no throttle for inappropriate behavior

Trump would be bragging to a coconut that he once produced milk. More milk. More milk than any coconut ever

He would be in fetal position within the first hour, sucking his thumb and drooling. Twenty four hours...mad as a hatter.

Malignant Self-Love: Narcissism Revisited

He also has lots of helpful videos on narcissism on YouTube.

He self-identifies as a malignant narcissist, so he has some perspective on the inner workings of the disorder.

and narcissists almost never change unless they are highly motivated to do so. Therapy is a waste of time because they believe they are superior to the therapist. There is zero chance that Trump will ever behave differently than he has his whole life.

What's even more interesting is the people who attach themselves to narcissists and are inevitably disappointed. There are certainly a lot of people who have divorced narcissists. But I never thought of it in terms of voters. Some of these people are going to be really shocked when they finally figure out that they've been conned.

I'm sure we've had other presidents who were narcissists. The difference is, most of them actually brought something to the presidency - some kind of intelligence or capability. Trump brings an inflated ego and no real abilities.
