Her departure comes just shy of six months after she started at the network, which she joined to anchor For The Record With Greta.
They let her go, Van Susterens husband, John Coale, told CNNs Brian Stelter.
MSNBC President Phil Griffin confirmed the news in a memo to network employees.
MSNBC and Greta Van Susteren have decided to part ways, Griffin wrote.

(2,263 posts)Greta's brother is an acquaintance of mine. He lives in my community. Staunch Democrat, politically active, embarrassed as hell over his sister. I'm sure this is a big conversation around his home this evening.
