I'm not getting caught up in the Mika/Joe vs. Trump Pro Rasslin' smack talk Bull.

That's precisely what this is. It's all staged and is just like the smack talk bullshit in "Pro Wrestling" Trump learned bout entertaining the masses with this bullshit during his stint in "Pro Wrestling" show business.

Remember, when it came down to Trump vs. Hillary, Mika and Joe were supportive of the orange asshat.

This is show business distraction nonsense, nothing more.

Even Joe, the moderate Repub. They were TOTALLY AGAINST TRUMP.

They started out being more or less noncommittal on the large group of Republicans running for the nomination, but when Trump showed his true self...they jumped on all that he had shown himself to be. And they didn't relent. TRUMP REFUSED TO APPEAR ON THEIR SHOW ANYMORE, as a consequence.

And that's the reality. But it's irrelevant. What the big deal is a President attacking a citizen PERSONALLY because of criticism of his policies and lies. That's a really big deal. He can ruin lives and careers, he knows it, and that's what he wants to do, in fact. Ruin lives and careers.

Congress needs to do something to protect the citizens.

It's not a journalists job to be a cheerleader for either. It's their JOB to point out shortcomings. But when Trump's mental imbalance started showing itself, his misogny, his violence, his racism, his lies started getting apparent, THEY WERE THE FIRST TO UNRELENTINGLY POINT THIS OUT, to the point that TRUMP QUIT APPEARING ON THE SHOW.

This is the reality. Not your reality.

It has been a non-stop vacillation between them kissing his ass one day and them going into histrionics like this the next.

Mika spent a year and a half meekly murmuring "I am voting for Hillary" before going on 10 minute dismissive rants about her.

Generallly for the last decade and specifically with 45 and Rs this last election they play their two bit theatre of normalizing 45 and right wing lunacy while hate framing liberals.

Yeah, this is functionally the dimwit exposing himself black mailing them, but they were black mailed because they were compromised, both personally with each other AND with him.

Its snakes turning on one another.

If it helps to bring 45 down, so be it.

But, Mike and Joe aren't "victims" here anymore than Manafort, or any of the dozens, hell countless puke bags who have gotten into bed with him.

late in the game.

Trump(R) has been Trump(R) since at least the 1980's. He's been scamming and grifting and stealing and stiffing people for decades. He has a million documentable and provable lies out there - huge lies. Huge thefts. And speaking of rape, Ivana is on record saying that he raped her and anyone with half a brain can see that her retraction was made only after financial pressure was applied to her. He ruined an army of people for DECADES. Trump(R)'s issues were apparent FOR DECADES before he announced.

Joe and Mika are fully aware of that. They somehow conveniently ignored that along with the rest of the media and never reported it, because that's one of his greatest cons. Trump(R) knows that people will do whatever he wants if they think they can profit from his scams.

There are no victims in this. There are schoolyard children throwing taunts where there should be a President and a media.

39. It's not the media's job to report on some r.e. NY guy's failings.
Fri Jun 30, 2017, 09:10 AM
Jun 2017

He became important only when he ran for President. It was at that point that the media stepped up the game and DID start reporting on it.

Trump & Joe/Mika had a falling out end of 2015. THAT'S when they started homing in on his failings to the point where Trump blew a gasket. That was pretty early. They both stated openly end of 2015 that neither of them could ever vote for him.

People have selective memories and believe what htey want to believe. If someone isn't a cheerleader for THEIR guy, they assume they're in the tank for the other. If someone doesn't criticize someone with every breath, they assume they're in that person's corner.

IT WAS BECAUSE OF THE MEDIA THAT WE KNOW WHAT WE KNOW, and that started years ago.

But there was a change during the Obama administration. I've heard it reported that Trump started the birther game. Not true. He jumped on the bandwagon, but did not start it. It was odd. He started changing at that point, and changed more noticeably during the primary. I have watched Trump sort of, through the years. But didn't watch his reality show except a couple of times.
He changed in the primary, or his real self emerged more. It was during the primary that I caught on to his character. And of course, his character became important ONLY because he became a viable candidate.

Joe & Mika were "friends" of his. Rich men court friends in the media and other power places. But they dropped him like a hot potato during the primary...on tv, in front of the nation, and were very critical of him.

There is a victim here. It's all women. Just like racism, I went onto a freeper site and saw anti-female posts the likes that I have never seen by freepers. Trump has unleashed anti-female and violent and racist sentiment. It's okay to be these abhorrent things, now.

And YES IT IS the media's job to report on A PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE'S DECADES LONG STRING OF CRIMINAL ACTS!!! And no, that was not reported. It is still only very thinly reported.

And no, two camps of idiots trading creepy barbs really doesn't make me, a woman, a victim. Your mileage may vary.

He'd rather be called a woman hater than a failure. He can accept the woman hater moniker because he relishes being a woman hater.

Some distractions are a cause, others are simply an effect. Lot's of clever little fellas out there pretending to know which is which, and basing a conclusion on that pretense.

Lot's of clever little fellas out there pretending to know what is or is not worthy everyone else's consideration.

But I'll give credit where due... yours is an efficient manner to minimize Trump's actions as beyond our care, beyond our review, or beyond our examination.
