A Simple Question:

Why the hell aren't Congressional Democrats raising holy hell over this Kris Kobach and the Trump Vote Fraud Committee's request for all 50 state voter rolls?

My God, what is it going take to wake them up? I have only heard individual Secretaries of State tell them to go blow! This is a good example of why there are legitimate beefs with the leadership of the Democratic Party! If the shoe was on the other foot, what would Republicans and their echo chamber be doing right now?

He's obsessed about the election and not winning the popular vote legitimately. That's why he won't even try to stop future election hacking by the Russians. He takes everything personally and can't separate the the investigation into his campaign and the actual proven evidence of severe Russian Interference into our election process.

fraud. The voters are not the ones committing the fraud. Now that all this info is coming out about just how vulnerable our election infrastructure is in many states with all the focus on Russian hacking, they will make the connection that if the Russians can do, so can the GOP.

Kobach's stunt is a shiny object distraction ....

Yes, He has requested some info beyond that which is publicly accessible....but that is simply to raise the hackles of the masses & absorb the energies of the resistance.....

Meanwhile,
*45 has asked his cabinet for a list of Deliverables (like sanction elimination etc)
For him to give to Putin @ G-20

*45 has ignored his Cabinet Secretaries' advice and basically decided to impose a tariff on imported steel .... apparently to satisfy his base who 'will love the fight'

Plus, there is the Flynn / Smith/ Russia E-mail hacking story that hit yesterday

And the WH Intimidation /extortion targeting media personalities story that hit today

And the story about an effort in congress to bring about action under the 25th to remove POTUS

And allegedly more shoes are ready to be dropped...

So, it is appropriate IMO that we allow the Secs of State to tell Kobach to go fuck himself
While IC / Mueller/ NYAG/ & Dems try to regain the nation's independence.....

I'm sure we'll be hearing soon from many Congresional Dems, both in the House and Senate, about this truly Orwellian action taken by Trump's election-fraud panel.

I'm sure that Senators Elizabeth Warren, Al Franken, Cory Booker, Kamala Harris & others will soon be issuing statements ...as well as Representatives Adam Schiff, Maxine Waters, Barbara Lee, John Lewis, Keith Ellison, Mark Pocan, + others, and probably the entire Congressional Progressive Caucus as well.
They're all been pretty busy the last few days, you know?
what with the Turtle's attempt to ram through Trump's Tax-Break-for-Millionaires health care bill and all the horseshit that House Speaker Eddie Minster & other House GOP leaders have been spewing as well.

By the way, it's not just Secretaries of State who have told "them to go blow!"
NY Gov. Andrew Cuomo has said he won't be "honoring the request"
and VA Gov. Terry McAuliffe said yesterday: "I have no intention of honoring this request."
I'm sure McAuliffe & Cuomo won't be the only Democratic governors to come out with a statement about this inane "request" from Kobach & the rest of the GOP criminals who sit on Trump's Voter Fraud panel.

And they should be the ones in the headlines.

I absolutely agree with letting states with Dem leadership get the spotlight on the leadership for resisting.
