.... In 1953, Kennedy became advisor to the Senate Subcommittee on Investigations under Senator Joseph McCarthy. Kennedy left the position just six months later, objecting to McCarthy’s unjust investigative tactics.

not just Fox News, but also Scientology - both very authoritarian.

There are many RW broadcasters that are far worse than her, but her "equivalency" of right and left, even after she left Fox, gave a lot of credibility to some very cray cray Trump tweets and actions.

"Most Scientologists are average practitioners, who live their daily lives outside of the church just like most Christians. However, the particularly devout may wish to join the Sea Organization, which would be similar to becoming a monk or a nun. Some members of the Sea Organization are adult converts, but others are the children of Scientologists who grew up in the church and chose to join the Sea Organization at a young age.

Former Scientologists allege that members of the Sea Organization are required to sign billion year contracts of service to the church, and many of these members do so before their 18th birthdays. They are paid about $50 a month for their service. However, they often receive less than that (as low as $13 a month), if they are written up for minor infractions or are forced to "donate" the money back into the church (for things such as church leader David Miscavige's birthday presents).

Along with low wages, if they are found to have fallen behind in their work, perceived as having a negative attitude about the church or its leadership, or are being punished for any reason, they can be sent to labor camps known as Rehabilitation Project Force locations. There they are forced into demanding physical labor for long hours of the day, while living in inhumane conditions. Most importantly, they are not permitted to leave. Security is high at these facilities and those who attempt to escape are chased down, brought back, and punished further. One former security head, Gary Morehead, alleges that in the thirteen years that he worked in security he helped to capture more than a hundred Sea Organization members,..." This is an article from a PBS documentary.

Bobby Kennedy worked for him longer than Susteren's father did, according to Wikipedia. Her father then broke off from him.

McCarthy was friends w/the Susteren family, just like he was good friends with the Kennedy family. Wiki says Bobby retained a fondness for him.

Susteren's sister is a Democrat & ran for the Senate.

I suspect Susteren is an independent. She most definitely is not a fascist. That term should be reserved for real fascists, IMO.

But what she is is a Scientologist, according to Wiki. That's a surprise. I wonder if she's bff's w/Tom Cruise.

... on the other had we gotta stop calling "Scientology" a religion.

That's utter bullshit. The whole thing is a hoax, perpetrated by a fraud.
And now they get a tax write-off for "donations."

This is offensive to real religions, and members of real churches.

I'm sure Greta realizes Joe McCarthy was not a good man, but maybe not? Ann Coulter has tried to improve McCarthy's image. My guess is that Greta and her husband were really interested in making money... bigger paychecks with the news networks and Palins? The religion has me stumped, though... it seems to be so idiotic. People can have their own beliefs and it's fine with me what she wants to believe, but I don't understand Scientology and Greta... or Rachel Maddow & Greta...
