BERLIN, June 26, 1933:

I am dictating [this letter] under pressure as I wish to catch the courier pouch.

What I do want to say really is that for the present this country is headed in directions which can only carry ruin to it and will create a situation here dangerous to world peace.

With few exceptions, the men who are running this Government are of a mentality that you and I cannot understand. Some of them are psychopathic cases and would ordinarily be receiving treatment somewhere. Others are exalted and in a frame of mind that knows no reason. The majority are woefully ignorant and unprepared for the tasks which they have to carry through every day.

Those men in the party and in responsible positions who are really worth-while, and there are quite a number of these, are powerless because they have to follow the orders of superiors who are suffering from the abnormal psychology prevailing in the country. It is impossible for us to talk about tariffs or monetary policy or any of these major matters with a Germany whose leaders do not think in any sense along the lines that we do.

While their representatives are talking at London and seem to be just like everybody else, the most phantastic experiments on financial or economic lines are being definitely considered in their home country. Dr. Luther may talk bravely and fairly about Germany in the United States, but he can't tell what he knows, and even if he would, there is a great deal that he does not know. There is a real revolution here and a dangerous situation.

- GEORGE S. MESSERSMITH, Consul General at Berlin,
addressed to Mr. Phillips, the Under Secretary of State

Trump walks into a bar with a pig.
Bartender says "Why did you come in here with that disgusting thing?"
Trump says "That's my pet pig"
Bartender says "I was talking to the pig."

And this:

A Democrat and a Republican were lost in the desert, and were dying of thirst.

Suddenly, they came upon a clear clean blue pool of water.

The Democrat started drinking until he realized that the Republican was relieving himself into it.

The Democrat said: "What the hell are you doing ???"

The Republican said: "I'm making it better !!!"

He talked about the "Fake news" using the term over and over and over
and suddenly I realized what he was doing, with that talk, and the talks like it and the Tweets about it.
He is setting his rabid followers up to not believe any news coverage of his impeachment or removal.
He has the power to tell them to be violent. He used the microphone to do this, and we have already seen what happens when he dog whistles even mildly.
Those speeches...that is Bannon and Nazi lover Miller talking. They have the perfect puppet.

We need to get him out of the WH....I am very unflappable and pragmatic, but what I am hearing gives me chills.
like the voice in your OP, there are some who know what they are seeing, but too many who brush it off.

Because, he believes that as long as he keeps his base of support, nobody can lay a finger on him and the Republican Party will be too scared to do anything about it. So long as Republicans are in charge, he is not worried about Special Counsel, Russia, or anything else, imo.
